Coast Idol has wrapped up for another year and absolutely was the biggest yet with 14 extremely talented finalists taking part over a 2 hour extravaganza at Murphy's Irish Pub.
Congratulations to our second runner up Dontae of Rockingham who sung 'If I Aint Got You' - Alicia Keys, also to our frist runner up Lorri of Greenfields who sung 'Natural Woman' - Aretha Franklin
and a huge round of applause for this year's Coast Idol 2010 Jennifer of Port Kennedy! She sung 'River Deep, Mountain High' - Tina Turner with the crowd going wild.
Coast Idol 2010 was an extremely fantastic event this year and unearthed some of the Peel's most talented individuals.
A huge thank you to Murphy's Irish Pub who provided us with their gracious hospitatilty each week and also to Air Innovation, Star Surf and Skate and Josephine's Salon De Beaute who all contributed towards the cash and prizes valued over $3 000. A big thankyou to Alan and the team at Moonlight Karaoke because without music, we couldn't go forth!
And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came down and took part, watched and enjoyed the show each week, and watch this space because we'll be back in 2011!
